The University of Applied Sciences Würzburg-Schweinfurt (FHWS) is a state university that looks back on over 200 years of history. There are more than 9,000 students and 200 professors at our two sites in Würzburg and Schweinfurt, which are situated approximately 40 kilometres apart.
FHWS offers practical, future-oriented study options with more than 40 degree programmes within ten different facilities and six research institutes. We guarantee degree qualifications that are recognised the world over. Students from more than 80 nations currently study alongside German students in the English-language bachelor’s degree programmes as part of the university’s international campus concept known as the FHWS i-Campus. The i-Campus concept includes support programmes and language courses to safeguard cultural diversity and foster students’ intercultural skills. At FHWS, teaching takes place in small study groups with an excellent student-teacher ratio.
